About Us
 

Links is a clinical psychology service based in North-East England offering support for children, young people and parents where there are emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. Services offered include expert witness work for the family courts, assessment and therapy for a range of childhood problems, consultation and training to child-care professionals.

Links has special expertise in attachment issues and working with looked-after and adopted children.

Links currently covers the Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, North and South Tyneside areas. Provision for work further afield can be negotiated at the point of referral.

Our History
 

Dr. H. Young is a Clinical Psychologist and founding member of Links Psychology Service, which was established in 2012. She has worked in dedicated child and family mental health services since 2004, involving both NHS-based and private work.

Dr. Young is registered with the UK-based regulatory and professional bodies, holding Chartered Psychologist status within the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
