About Us
Links is a clinical psychology-led service based in North-East England offering psychological intervention for children, young people, parents and families where there are concerns about emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties
Services offered include expert witness work for the family courts, assessment and therapy, with expertise in trauma and attachment issues and in working with families in a range of different situations. This includes birth families, those involved with fostering and adoption, and reconstituted families following separation/divorce. A consultation and training service is also provided to child-care professionals across health, social care and education
Links is based within Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is available to take work from across the region. Provision for work further afield can be negotiated at the point of referral.

Service History
Dr. H. Young is a Clinical Psychologist and founding member of Links Psychology Service, which was established in 2012. She has worked in dedicated child and family mental health services since 2004, involving both NHS-based and private work.
Dr. Young is registered with the UK-based regulatory and professional bodies, holding Chartered Psychologist status within the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
